Hey there,

I’m Brie (she/her), an AuDHD coach, LAC-T counselor, and founder of Body, Soul & Mind Coaching. I support autistic, ADHD, and AuDHD adults, and the partners and parents who love them. I built this practice for people like me, and I share and help implement the tools I wish I’d had so many years ago.

A few years back, when I was first discovering my divergent differences, I found myself divorced as a single mom to my then-almost-seven-year-old, burned out in a corporate job and on my third leave of absence having reached my breaking point. My manager at the time told me, “After nine months as an account manager, you should have this down by now.” I was forgetting things, losing track of time, needing the same directions repeated, and wondering, What’s wrong with me?

Answer (to past me and maybe you): nothing. My manager, much like our general society, didn’t realize that my brain was different. However, the expectations around me weren’t. During my last leave, after intense anxiety, depression, and an (now known to be overwhelming, autistic) burnout, I met with a psychiatrist and was soon diagnosed with ADHD. Suddenly, I was thrust into the world of neurodivergence in the best way possible. I had been here the whole time, yet was unaware of the language to my experiences and in short, the existence of ‘divergence’. Within five months thereafter diagnosis, I enrolled at Grand Canyon University for an M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. While furthering my awareness to Psychology’s language of divergence, I found a community that felt like home, and a purpose that continues to light me up.

Unfortunately, my story isn’t uncommon. Many of us struggle living in an constantly evolving world that has yet to fully welcome and embrace our community’s unique, eclectic strengths and difference. This is where I strive to set the bar of change. You don't have to do this alone nor are you. We are navigating systems that just aren’t designed for our brains. My practice exists, however, so you don’t have to navigate it solo or feel “othered” ever again.

My work set upon a foundation of 34 years lived experience, an M.S in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, with certifications in continued education through Transformation Academy. My collaborative approach is neurodivergent-affirming, strengths-based, and based in passion for helping my clients discover their most authentic, empowered self. My style is simple; we get curious. This means, we start with what speaks to you, and works for your brain, and body. And if you don't know what that is, PERFECT! We start there at your level of comfort and consent. Understanding who I was helped me stop fighting myself and coaching help me start building with who I actually was. Now, I help others do the same. We will include awareness to sensory needs, your energy spoons, and the realities that make up your (daily) life. We laugh and ease when it helps. We pause when you and your body need it.

If you’re autistic, ADHD, AuDHD, questioning/uncertain, or an ally who wants to show up better for you and the divergents you love, you’re welcome here. I offer practical tools, scripts, and structure, and bite-sized steps through an easy-going, non-judgemental style and with a lot of empathy.

Coaching is not therapy, and I’m always clear on scope and safety. If you’re in Arizona, I can provide crisis and therapeutic resource referrals at your request.

Ready to try this your way? I would love to meet you. Let’s take the next step towards lowering the mask and meeting the beautifully authentic person underneath.

About Me

In 2019 my life was turned upside down.  I was divorced, sharing custody of my beautiful daughter with my ex-husband with whom I had a difficult relationship at the time, and finally ended up fling for bankruptcy.

Moreover, I was diagnosed with ADD, and then AuDHD.  Though receiving this diagnosis was not shocking, it did affect me, leaving me more insecure and misunderstood than ever before.

I was going through the toughest times of my adult life!

Coaching rescued me, but it wasn't an easy journey.
